UK - A new range of ready-to-eat chicken products has been launched offering food retailers, opportunities in the convenience sector.
The Delamere brand provide retailers with an opportunity to capitalise on the growing trend for convenience food, following news that the on-the-go food sector will grow by seven per cent in 2015.
Designed to cater to increasing consumer demand for great quality, on-the-go cooked products, the Delamere range will include chicken slices, roast chicken thighs and roast whole and half chickens, all of which are ready to eat straight out of the packet.
The Delamere range is the latest line to come from Forresters, the Cheshire-based chicken processor that also supplies raw, cooked and coated, chilled and frozen poultry products to industries including the retail, convenience, hospitality, foodservice, contract catering, and wholesale sectors.
