INDIA - Two of the four Indian buffalo meat processing plants approved to export to Russia have started sending shipments.
The approved plants are Fair Export (India) Pvt. Ltd and Frigerio Conserva Allana Private Limited.
The accredited Russian veterinary inspector, who is permanently present during production and dispatch of the buffalo meat intended for Russia signed off 16 certificates and saw the controlled dispatch of 16 containers nine containing shipments of 25 tonnes each and three with shipments of 28 tons from the Allana plant and four containers of 25 tons each from the Fair Export plant.
All the products will be imported through St. Petersburg and will be further transported to cold-store facilities at Pervomaysky and to the company Meatpoint.
