RUSSIA - The authorities Tver and Pskov have blocked the import of 20 tonnes of poultry products from Lithuania.
The consignment was stopped at the Burachki check point in Kazakhstan.
The chicken products were stopped from entering the country because of the current regulations preventing certain products being exported to Russia and the Customs Union states.
Despite having veterinary certificates allowing export from the EU to Russsia the consignment was turned back.
