Cargill Recalls Beef Products over E.Coli

CANADA - Cargill Meat Solutions in Canada is recalling Your Fresh Market brand ground beef products from the marketplace because of possible E. coli O157 contamination.

Consumers are being advised not to consume the recalled products.

The products have been sold at Walmart stores in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The recall was triggered by test results.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to the recall of other products.

If other high-risk products are recalled, the CFIA said it will notify the public through updated Food Recall Warnings.

The CFIA is verifying that industry is removing recalled product from the marketplace.

There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these products.
