CHINA - Two subsidiaries of the Chinese giant pig meat processor WH Group have started exporting pork to Russia.
The start of exports last week was marked with official ceremonies at the meat plants - Heilongjiang Wankui Shuanghui and Baoquanling Shuanghui, two subsidiaries of Henan Shuanghui Investment & Development Co, Ltd, a subsidiary of WH Group
The start of exports of Shuanghui’s pork products to Russia is a major step forward in the expansion of the Group’s global sales network.
Government representatives of Heilongjiang Province, veterinary officers from Russia and the senior management of the Shuanghui factories attended the ceremonies.
Large refrigerated trucks carrying Shuanghui pork products then set out to the China-Russia customs posts after the ceremony.
The WH Group said that the production processes at Wankui Shuanghui and Baoquanling Shuanghui meet top international standards together with an international food industry HACCP programme.
Both factories have installed advanced pig slaughtering, carcase splitting and processing lines and meat processing equipment.
The company said that the product standards and quality meet the State’s and the industry’s highest standards, winning recognition and praise from the Group’s business partners in Russia.
