Moy Park Improves Green Credentials

UK - Top 10 UK food manufacturer, Moy Park further improved its environmental performance in 2013 reducing water and energy usage and cutting Co2 emissions by 3,600 tonnes which is comparable to taking 1,000 cars off the road for a year.

The company, which is widely recognised for leading the way in sustainable best practise, has demonstrated a marked reduction in utilities usage over the past year across a range of key areas including water recovery, recycling initiatives, the upgrade of refrigeration systems and a thermal heat recovery initiative.
