Singapore Lifts Export Ban on Thai Frozen Chicken12 December 2013
SINGAPORE - A nine year ban on Thai frozen chicken ban has been lifted by Singapore authorities following an abatement in bird flu, Vietnam News Agency (VNA) reported.
According to Bernama.com, the move is expected to encourage other countries to import chicken from Thailand.
Thai Ministry of Commerce has warned domestic chicken exporters of fierce competition in the world market and advised them to focus on processed chicken products.
