Collaboration Agreement for Student Training15 November 2013
PAKISTAN - The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore and Punjab Agriculture and Meat Company (Pamco) are joining forces to allow industry trainees to get hands-on training under the UVAS project "Modular training programme for meat industry".
A memorandum of understanding was signed by the Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Talat Naseer Pasha and Pamco Chief Executive Officer Mumtaz Khan Manais according to the Business Recorder.
The UVAS will provide technical consultancy services to Pamco in meat processing and carcase value addition.
The undergraduate students will be allowed to do their internship at Pamco to get hands-on experience.
The Pamco will also allow UVAS postgraduate students to conduct their research trials at Pamco processing facilities.
