Bolivian Beef Production Rises24 October 2013
BOLIVIA – Bolivian beef production has increased thanks to a marked risein beef output in the Santa Cruz and Cochambamba regions
According to the Bolivian Foreign Trade Institute, beef output in the two regions rose by over 4,000 tonnes.
This has followed a steady rebuild period in which national beef output has increased 37 per cent over five years.
Since 2007, national slaughter by head has lifted by 210,409 and beef production has increased by 41,058 tons.
