Marine Harvest Buys More Morpol Shares

NORWAY - Marine Harvest has bought a further 7,734,185 shares in Morpol ASA from Skagen Vekst.

The purchas price is NOK 11.85 per share.

Marine Harvest now holds 154,060,010 shares in Morpol, representing 91.7 per cent of all of Morpol's issued shares.

Marine Harvest said will purchase any further shares in Morpol offered to it up to Wednesday 6 November at the same price.

Following the expiry of the purchase period, Marine Harvest intends to compulsory acquire the remaining shares in Morpol. The price offered in the compulsory acquisition will be the same as in the present offer - NOK 11.85.

Shareholders have been recommended to accept the voluntary transaction as this will ensure that they receive settlement in the short term.
