Haiti Still Yet to Formalise Meat and Egg Deal20 September 2013
DOMINICAN REPUBLIC – Meat exporters are waiting on trade plans to be formalised with the Haiti government after Dominican chicken meat and eggs were granted market access earlier this week.
A memorandum of understanding has been reached offering parity across both nations’ food health systems.
Luis Ramon Rodrigues, agriculture minister, said the certification will allow for a balance of supply and demand of both chicken meat and eggs.
