Dairy Exports Volume Up - Value Down08 August 2013
AUSTRALIA – Dairy exports from Australia grew in volume in the year to Junebut were worth less to the economy according to Dairy Australia.
Volume rose by 4.7 per cent with butter, milk and cheese being the biggest growers, rising 17.3 per cent, 16.5 per cent and 11.6 per cent respectively.
Mixtures, SMP and cheddar cheese also reported smaller rises in volume.
Volume falls were reported for whole milk powder and butter oil.
