Poultry Cooking Advice Issued Ahead of Bumper BBQ Weekend

UK - With good weather forecast for the weekend, millions of Britons are set to enjoy a BBQ over the next few days.

Ahead of the Food Standard Agency’s Food Safety Week, which is set to run from 10-16 June 2013, the British Poultry Council (BPC) has updated its website with tips on how people can cook their food properly.

Andrew Large, Chief Executive of BPC, commented: "With the arrival of summer, poultry is the perfect high-quality and nutritious food for people to enjoy on the barbeque. However people need to make sure that they prepare and cook food properly. Poultry needs to be thoroughly cooked on the barbeque until juices run clear."
